Camilla’s Chic Winter Wedding at The George in Rye
Some venues feel like stepping into another world, and The George in Rye is definitely one of them. Nestled in the cobbled streets of Rye, this historic hotel is full of charm, elegance, and a timeless atmosphere that makes every wedding feel special. I’ve been lucky enough to work here twice now, and I’m already heading back again next week — it’s safe to say it’s become one of my favourites.
Camilla’s Bridal Look
Camilla was a beautiful February bride, and her look was the perfect mix of classic and modern. She wore the most stunning beaded gown, which she paired with a chic feather jacket — a stylish (and very practical!) choice for a winter wedding.
For her makeup, we kept things light, radiant, and glowing with her signature eyeliner to frame the eyes. I added individual lashes for a soft but full lash line, bronzed and highlighted her skin, and finished with a delicate pop of pink on the cheeks. The result was fresh, polished, and perfectly “Camilla.”
For her hair, she chose a half-up style with pearls woven through — a subtle but beautiful nod to the beading on her dress. It tied the whole look together effortlessly.
The Details
It’s impossible not to mention that dress again — honestly, it was a showstopper. Paired with her feather jacket and a tulip bouquet (a last-minute idea that turned out to be absolutely fabulous), Camilla’s bridal style was the definition of chic winter glamour.
The morning was such a joy — relaxed, full of excitement, and shared with her lovely friends and family. Congratulations again, Camilla ❤️ It was such a pleasure to be part of your day.

Tips for Winter Brides ❄️
Planning a winter wedding? Here are some of my top tips to keep you glowing and comfortable on your big day:
✨ Hydration is key – Cold weather and central heating can dry out skin. In the lead-up to your wedding, a nourishing skincare routine will help keep your base flawless and radiant.
✨ Choose a radiant base – Dewy, glowing makeup looks beautiful against winter light. Products like illuminating primers or cream highlighters give the perfect winter glow.
✨ Stay cosy in style – From feather jackets to faux fur wraps, layering can add both warmth and a touch of glamour to your bridal look.
✨ Long-lasting lashes & liner – With winter weather in mind, waterproof mascara and eyeliner will ensure your eye makeup stays picture-perfect no matter what.
✨ Don’t forget your bridesmaids – Make sure they’re also prepared for the cold! Matching wraps or chic jackets not only keep everyone warm but also look gorgeous in photos.
✨ Congratulations again Camilla — you looked incredible, and it was a joy to be part of your day at The George in Rye.
