Terms & Conditions - Wedding Services
By securing a booking with Beauty by Hannah, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Booking & Payments
A £100 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure your wedding date. Your booking is not confirmed until this payment has been received.
Dates are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and enquiries do not reserve a date.
The booking fee will be deducted from your final balance, which is due 14 days before the wedding day. Failure to make payment within the agreed timeframe may result in cancellation of the booking.
Trials
Trials are offered once your wedding date has been secured with a booking fee.
Trials are typically held Monday–Friday and usually take place at the bride’s home or another agreed location.
Bridal trials are strongly recommended to ensure the final look is planned and agreed in advance of the wedding day.
Travel
Travel is charged at £0.45 per mile (round trip) from ME10 3AH for both trials and wedding bookings.
Parking, congestion charges, tolls, and other travel costs may apply where necessary.
For destination weddings, additional travel costs such as flights, accommodation, and ground travel may be required. In some cases, a £100 travel day fee may also apply.
Accommodation may also be required the night before the wedding if travel exceeds two hours one way or if the start time is 6am or earlier.
Bridal Parties & Assistant Artists
For larger bridal parties, or where timing requires it, assistant artists may be arranged to ensure everyone is ready within the available time.
Changes & Cancellations
All changes to a booking must be made by the bride named on the booking.
If you need to cancel your wedding booking:
Cancelling within 3 months of the wedding date – 50% of the remaining balance is still payable.
Cancelling within 1 month of the wedding date – 100% of the remaining balance is payable.
Deposits and payments for services already completed (such as trials) are non-refundable.
Changes to the number of services should be made at least 3 months before the wedding. Reductions made after this time may still be charged in full.
Delays on the Wedding Day
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all members of the bridal party are ready at their allocated time.
Beauty by Hannah cannot be held responsible for delays caused by late arrivals, other suppliers, venue restrictions, or circumstances outside our control.
If services cannot be completed due to delays outside of our control, refunds cannot be offered.
Allergies & Skin Sensitivities
Clients must inform their artist of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions before services are carried out.
Beauty by Hannah cannot be held responsible for reactions to products where these conditions have not been disclosed.
Insurance
Beauty by Hannah and any assisting artists hold full public liability insurance.
We strongly recommend that couples obtain wedding insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances.
Photography
Images of hair and makeup may occasionally be used for portfolio, social media, or marketing purposes.
If you would prefer your images not to be shared, please inform us in advance.
Artist Illness or Emergency
In the unlikely event that Hannah is unable to attend due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, every effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement artist.
If a replacement cannot be found, any payments made (excluding services already completed) will be fully refunded.
Conduct
Beauty by Hannah reserves the right to cancel services without refund if the artist or assistants are subjected to abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour.
By paying a booking fee, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
Terms & Conditions - Mobile Nail Services
By booking an appointment, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Bookings & Payments
Appointments must be booked in advance via the agreed booking method.
Full payment is required on the day of service and must be made before departure. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of booking.
Failure to make payment may result in refusal of future bookings.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment fee and future bookings may require pre-payment.
Mobile Appointments
As a mobile service, clients must provide:
A suitable table or flat surface
Adequate lighting
A chair at appropriate working height
A clean, safe working environment
If suitable conditions are not provided, Hannah reserves the right to refuse service.
Travel fees may apply outside of the standard coverage area and will be confirmed prior to booking.
Health, Hygiene & Allergies
All tools are sanitised and hygiene standards are strictly followed.
Clients must inform Hannah of:
Allergies
Skin conditions
Nail infections or fungal conditions
Pregnancy (if applicable)
Services cannot be performed on nails with active infections or conditions that may compromise safety.
Beauty by Hannah cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions where prior conditions were not disclosed.
Nail Aftercare & Repairs
Aftercare advice will be provided following your appointment. Proper aftercare is the client’s responsibility.
Repairs for chips or lifting must be reported within 48 hours of the appointment. After this period, repairs may be chargeable.
Longevity of gel or nail treatments varies depending on lifestyle, aftercare, and nail condition.
Late Arrivals
If a client is late, treatment time may be reduced to avoid impacting later appointments. Full payment will still be required.
If a delay makes it impossible to complete the service safely or within schedule, the appointment may be cancelled and treated as a late cancellation.
Insurance
Hannah holds full public liability insurance, providing protection for both herself and her clients.
Conduct
Beauty by Hannah reserves the right to refuse or terminate an appointment if subjected to inappropriate, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour. In such cases, no refund will be given.
Liability
While every care is taken to ensure a safe and professional service, Beauty by Hannah’s liability is limited to the cost of the treatment provided.
